• Question: Which invention do you wish you had made?

      I wish I’d invented the Transistor, because all modern electronics relies on them. It would be cool to look around and know that every phone, computer, television, coffee machine… etc. is based, in part, on your own work.

      Sadly, the three actual inventors Bardeen, Brattain, and Shockley all died between ’85 and ’90, but I think even by then they must have realised how important their invention was.
