• Question: What new stuff have you discovered from smashing particles together?

      Unfortunately I don’t get to smash them together as Im a theorist 🙁 but recently the LHC discovered the Higgs boson which was really exciting as it was predicted in the 60’s and has been a missing puzzle piece to the standard model for a long time! I think if physicists find anything new during the next run of the LHC the media will pick up on it and results will be made public so you should be able to find out 🙂
