Question: What made you choose England as an employment area for physics?

In Italy there are not many opportunities to reach a permanent position in Particle Physics, so at the end of my master I started looking for opportunities abroad. Because of a summer studentship at Royal Holloway during the summer of my third year of undergraduates I managed to find a PhD position there. Later in my career I decided to move from France to UK because there were many more job opportunities in the software industry. I am quite happy to be again a scientist in UK as this is still one of best countries to have a good career in Particle Physics.
