• Question: What will be the fate of or universe? And why are planets round? Where do astrophysical neutrinos come from and what are they?

This depends on whether the universe is open or closed – if it is open it will carry on expanding forever. If it is closed then we could see a Big Crunch. This is very much still up in the air as to what we think may happen. As for the fate of our solar system… the lifetime of our sun depends on this! After the sun leaves its stable phase it will become a red giant and engulf the Earth. But this wont be for another few billion years so dont worry 🙂

As for astrophysical neutrinos – these are high energy neutrinos coming from outside our solar system – from other suns and/or supernovae.
