• Question: Do you think we will have time travel in the future? Why?

      Hmmm this is a tricky one! Hopefully time travel will be invented in the future, but I remember watching a documentary on this a few years ago where the guy said that time travel will only be available from when your time machine is switched on. So you could leave the machine on for thousands of years, but you will only ever be able to travel as far back as when the machine was originally turned on and no further back in time… Theres a clip of the documentary here https://youtu.be/oRWwI61so5Q. In it he makes the time machine using light – as only travelling at the speed of light are you able to travel back in time… which is going to be pretty hard for humans to achieve 🙁 So overall I think we would all love to time travel but our understanding of time and the universe so far tells us this can only be achieved by travelling at light speed

      Yeah as Jackie said, it really needs you to be able to travel at the speed of light, and from what we know right now it’s unlikely that will ever be possible. No-one really knows what might happen in the future though!
